In
the above graph on the left cannabis initiation,
on the right it's interesting to note that as the
rate at which applicants tried heroin
was inversely related to the age at
which they had first tried cannabis.
In more the 5000 patients
being surveyed. These are only some of the
findings. As it turns out cocaine initiation is also an inverse
graph. The bottom line is that when patients use cannabis they are
less likely to turn to hard drugs. This would support the finding that
cannabis modulates opiates in pain patients. Patients that use
cannabis with opiates to treat pain, need less opiates than with out
the cannabis.
